Looking for input from flight attendants . . .

if you have been or are a flight attendant, i'd love to have some input about your experiences and ideas regarding it.. i've always thought i'd like to do this sort of work - due to the travel opportunities - and my service work experience.. .

so i'm going to take a shot at this - even though i'm probably too old and will probably have to wear makeup to work (yuck!).

any and all feedback from experienced flight attendants would be greatly appreciated!

Ever hear convincing testimony that d'f'ing is a "loving arrangement"?

just wondering, cuz it's so often espoused by those doing the shunning that disfellowshipping is a "loving arrangement," and there must be tons of "testimonial" literature from the borg saying so; however, when i was a jw, i don't recall ever once hearing a previously d'f''ed one giving witness to how loving it was.

i read these statements by roger angell from page 81 of november 2007 issue of oprah.

despite being an oprhah fan, i have never purchased her mags, due to my prejudice against glossy, narcissistic-appearing rags, but, you gotta' take the good with the bad, especially when you're desperate for insight or comfort.

i am truly glad that i opened myself up to some more positive thinking and purchased this admittedly overly commercialized mag, as i've been suffering a bit of emotional diarhhea lately.. now that i know i can get it online, i won't waste any more trees, though!.

if what is going on with this "trevorgate" thing is true, i think it is best to simply make a donation to a good cause, instead of directly to the person, unless you have absoulute, direct contact with the situation entirely.

because of my awakenings about all of my own family and jw mental health issues - and in light of the info i've come across today about linda and trevor - i am inspired to make donations to nami and other mental health organizations in the name of "trevor s." and other deluded or abusive people who seriously need help.. there are enough stressors and depressers in my life, without trying to help people who have imaginary problems, (although i don't doubt they too need help - just not the kind of help i can offer!).

if a person or people are laughing at us for our desire to reach out, be humane, offer compassion and act as a family in the way that many of us have been denied by the wtb&ts, the person perpetrating the hoax is so deeply damaged that seeking to punish him/her is counterproductive; however, he/she definitely needs to be confronted and face the natural consequences.
